Its characteristic color is an intense ruby red. Its aromas recall the scents of red fruits, violets and almonds. In the mouth it is vinous, dry and pleasantly bitter, as typical of its grape variety. Its freshness and balance make it a pleasant wine.
This wine is able to perfectly accompany a great variety of courses: from appetizers to grilled meats, passing through dishes based on white meat and fish dishes.
Villadoria was born in 1959 thanks to the sacrifices and commitment of Pietro Lanzavecchia and his wife, Pietrina. The company's goal right from the start was to convey to its customers the same passion for wine as the Lanzavecchia family. Today it can be said with absolute certainty that, decade after decade, that goal has been largely achieved. The wines of Villadoria are known throughout Europe and beyond, so much so that in 2007 they obtained international recognition, such as the Decanter and the Wine Spectator.
