Our tasting
Its grapes, harvested in the second half of September, are at the origin of the ruby red color of this wine. Among the various aromas you can clearly feel those of black cherry, black currant and violets. In terms of taste, it can be described as a compact, balanced and structured wine. The tannins are fine and soft.
Our combinations
It is not necessary a frenzied research to choose which recipe to pair this wine with. Campo Amarene is perfect for all types of meat, cured meats and aged cheeses.
The cellar
The Col di Bacche farm was born in 1998 in Cupi, in the heart of the Morellino di Scansano DOCG. The company's production is aimed above all at the creation of five different types of red wine. Undoubtedly, the fact that the harvest is done entirely by hand in total respect for nature and its times should be mentioned.
